Shore Fire friend, Paste journalist and music industry fantasy baseball guru Steve LaBate has been in the recording studio lately and the first track sounds great. It's gritty rock and roll, reminiscent of The Replacements (and no, I didn't copy that off of his influences section) and The Faces. He also appears to have been in about a million bands in his lifetime. Listen here.
